Dear Instructors
We would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to your club to participate in the TKA Grater London Karate Championship. This event has been running for over 20 years, thanks to the continued support of many groups. Over the years we have tried and tested many categories and feel that we now hove an event, which offers something for everyone.

Some of our top association karate-ka will be attending the event and we hope you will join them. The aim of the competition is to promote friendship and respect for one another and to give karate a higher profile in the sporting arena. There are 5 competition over the year each will take one day, with 400 to 700 competitors men, women, boys and girls .Kata, kumite, team kata and team kumite.

You will most certainly find this competition to be a wonderful experience for spectators and competitors alike. Further suggestions regarding ways of improving the event, would be most welcomed. Instructors should note that we are not providing Red and Blue mitts or belts this year. Please ensure that competitors have their own mitts and belts on the day. It would be appreciated if groups taking part could provide at least one Referee/ judge or table official to help with the event. However if you have any queries, then please do not hesitate to contact me. On behalf of the organising committee we look forward to seeing you at this event.
